clipping calm of cave in table

I wish to emanate a squared list 9x9, extent and tallness should be 100%,
and any cave should be 11.11% tallness and width. we could do it with
next formula though when a calm inside a cave is too infinite a cave grows
down with it. we don't wish that. we only simply wish a calm to be hidden.
